Mountain View Mausoleum


The Pasadena Cemetery Association proudly presents the Mountain View Mausoleum, an architectural and historical treasure within the historic Mountain View Cemetery, established in 1882. Designed by renowned architect Cecil E. Bryan, this remarkable structure features a 180-foot Great Gallery with a hand-painted vaulted ceiling by Martin Syvertsen, stained glass by Judson Studios, and over 64 varieties of Italian marble. It serves as the final resting place for notable figures such as Civil War officers, actor George Reeves, Black Panther leader Eldridge Cleaver, and Nobel laureate Richard Feynman. Open daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the mausoleum invites visitors to experience its serene beauty and rich legacy.
