In neighboring Butte County there's a quiet little lake tucked into the mountains. It's about 1/2 mile wide and a couple of miles long. This gem is near the headwaters of the South Fork of the Feather River and supplies the drinking water for Oroville. We have spent many happy hours there with our children picnicing, swimming, paddling a kayak or just laying back watching the trees grow. The water is delightfully cold---just right for a hot summer day.
The painting is matted and framed and measures 22" X 28".
