We believe that when a person takes the Lords Supper he or she receives the bread and body of Christ and when they drink the cup of the vine he or she also receives the wine and blood of Christ at the same time. Therefore, we want those who commune with us to be instructed and able to examine themselves before taking this gift of Christ, for anyone who eats and drinks without recognizing the body of the Lord eats and drinks judgment upon themselves. (1 Corinthians 11:29)
