Vesper Energys Gaucho Solar project is situated on 61 acres in Allegheny and Beaver Counties, Pennsylvania. With a nameplate capacity of 20 MWac, the project is planned to reach commercial operation in 2022. The project will utilize solar photovoltaic technology mounted on a fixed-tilt racking system. Gaucho Solar will interconnect to Duquesne Light Companys transmission system in PJM and is contracted with the University of Pittsburgh under a long-term power purchase agreement.
