Simple cremation does not include any type of celebration of life or memorial service. After all the necessary paperwork is completed and permits obtained, the deceased is then transported to the crematory. After the cremation has taken place, the cremated remains are placed in an urn and can then be sent home with the family or prepared for burial or placement in a niche at a cemetery.
