Recycling
The following items are accepted for recycling at the Public Works facility:
- CFL and Fluorescent Light Bulbs
- Household Batteries (Alkaline, Ni-Cad, and Lithium)
- Christmas Lights from January 1st through March 31st.
You can drop off your recycling items from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
ITEMS Groot accepts FOR RECYCLING
Groot offers free electronics recycling. Two electronic waste items (including televisions up to 50 pounds) can be disposed of. You are required to contact Groot at 630-469-1036 at least 24 hours in advance of your designated service day to schedule a pickup.
