Introducing the NVMA 360 Internship Program, a transformative 10-week opportunity brought to you by the Nevada Mining Association (NVMA) in partnership with the Nevada Bureau of Land Management (BLM). This prestigious program offers a comprehensive experience for full-time students enrolled in mining-related degrees or Environmental Science at accredited four-year colleges or universities in Nevada. Over the course of the internship, participants will spend 7 weeks gaining hands-on experience at an active mine site and 3 weeks working alongside professionals at the BLM, providing them with a 360-degree view of Nevada's dynamic mining industry. As a paid summer internship, it not only offers valuable industry exposure but also equips students with essential skills and knowledge, preparing them for successful careers. Interns will have the unique opportunity to share their insights and experiences through a final presentation to the NVMA membership, which comprises mine operators, suppliers, and vendors representing over 500 companies. To be eligible, applicants must be full-time college students at the sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate level, majoring in mining or an environmental-related field, and possess strong interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills. Housing will be provided by the host mine, ensuring a seamless and enriching internship experience.
