Retreats

The Saprea Retreat offers a transformative four-day experience followed by a self-guided online course, specifically designed for adult women who have experienced sexual abuse during childhood. Led by a team of licensed therapists and case managers, the retreat provides a safe and supportive environment where survivors can learn about the impacts of trauma, apply healing strategies, and build a community of support. Each day of the retreat is structured to offer a variety of classes and activities tailored to individual needs, allowing participants to engage in their healing journey at their own pace. With a focus on education, experience, community, personal reflection time, and follow-up online courses, the Saprea Retreat empowers survivors to navigate their path to healing with resilience and strength.

While the Saprea Retreat is best suited for survivors who function well across multiple areas of their lives and can safely participate in a social environment for four days, it also recognizes the ongoing impacts of past trauma. Hosted in the serene canyons of the Wasatch Mountain range in northern Utah, the retreat offers a tranquil setting for survivors to engage in healing practices and exercises. However, it's important to note that the Saprea Retreat is not a crisis intervention program. Survivors struggling with significant untreated mental health symptoms, active substance addiction, or homelessness are encouraged to seek professional help before applying. If you've been managing the effects of childhood sexual abuse but continue to struggle, the Saprea Retreat offers a unique opportunity for continued healing and support.
